Service Description
Muscle Tension Relief Therapy is a personalised massage focused on areas that feel tight, tired or overworked. Classic Swedish massage techniques are adapted to your comfort, helping you unwind and enjoy greater ease and relaxation. The session can focus on one or more areas such as the back, shoulders, neck, arms or legs. Pressure and treatment priorities are agreed during consultation and adjusted throughout. What to expect: • A brief consultation before treatment • Massage focused on your priority areas • Pressure adapted to your comfort • Appropriate draping and ongoing consent • Personalised aftercare advice Important: This is a complementary wellbeing treatment. It does not diagnose or treat injury, chronic pain, arthritis, neurological conditions or other medical problems and is not a substitute for medical or physiotherapy assessment. Please seek appropriate professional advice for persistent, severe, unexplained or worsening pain, weakness, numbness or loss of function. This treatment may not be suitable over acute injuries, recent fractures, active inflammation, infection, fever, open wounds, unexplained swelling or suspected blood clots. Please contact the clinic before booking if you are pregnant, have had recent surgery, are undergoing cancer treatment, take anticoagulant medication, have osteoporosis or require medical clearance or treatment adaptations. Aftercare: Allow time to rest, move gently, drink according to your normal needs and follow any personalised advice provided after your session. Temporary mild tenderness can occur after focused massage; seek medical advice if symptoms are significant or persistent.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations & Rescheduling A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required if you need to cancel or change your appointment. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, we will endeavour to fill your appointment slot. • If successful, your payment will be transferred to your next appointment or refunded. • If we are unable to fill the slot, a 100% late cancellation charge will apply. No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged at the full treatment value. If you choose to shorten, cancel, or change part of your booking after arrival, the full cost of the originally booked treatment(s) will remain payable upon departure. We understand that emergencies and illness can occur unexpectedly. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhoea within 24 hours prior to your appointment, please cancel your session for your own wellbeing and that of others. In the event of severe weather conditions, please use your judgment and do not risk your safety to attend. If the clinic must close or appointments are cancelled due to adverse weather, you will be notified as early as possible. Late cancellations due to a genuine emergency, illness, or severe weather will generally not incur charges, but each case will be considered individually at the therapist’s discretion.
