Indian Head Massage – 1:1 Practical Training

Service Description
Develop your practical skills and confidence with a four-hour, one-to-one Indian Head Massage training session with Alina Painter at Alina Holistic Health Academy. Designed for students enrolled in our Indian Head Massage Practitioner Course, this half-day session combines tutor demonstrations, guided practice and individual feedback to help you prepare for your separate practical assessment. WHAT WE WILL COVER • Preparing your workspace, equipment and client. • Consultation, consent and recognising contraindications. • Positioning, posture, client support and comfortable pressure. • Massage techniques for the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp and face. • Adapting the routine to individual needs. • Aftercare, treatment records and preparation for your case studies. CHOOSE YOUR TRAINING FORMAT Attend face-to-face at the Academy in Blacknest, Alton, Hampshire, or join live via Zoom with a consenting adult model in your own practice space. Select In-Person Training or Online – Worldwide when booking. BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT Complete the relevant online theory modules and read your course manual. Arrange a consenting adult model for your practical work. For Zoom sessions, prepare a stable internet connection and a camera position that clearly shows your hands, posture and model. Joining details are provided with your confirmed online appointment. ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION This appointment is for practical training. Your Practical Assessment is booked separately. Certification follows successful completion of all course requirements. Appointments require tutor approval.
Cancellation Policy
• Training sessions, assessments and Reiki attunements are available only to students enrolled on the relevant course with Alina Holistic Health Academy, whose course fees have been paid in full. Students must complete the required preparatory learning for their level before receiving their attunement. Reiki courses purchased from other providers do not entitle you to book these course-related attunements. • Booking a session does not enrol you on a course or replace payment of the course fee. Enrolment, payment and any applicable prerequisites will be checked, and ineligible bookings will be cancelled. • Sessions may be booked up to 30 days in advance and no later than 24 hours before the start time. • Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. With sufficient notice, your session may be transferred to another available date without a rescheduling charge. • Late cancellations or missed sessions may incur a reasonable charge reflecting the Academy’s actual loss, taking account of costs saved and any replacement booking. Any charge for a replacement session will be explained and agreed before rebooking. • Illness, emergencies and severe weather will be considered individually. If the Academy cancels a session, an alternative date will be offered, without affecting applicable statutory rights. • Cancelling an included session does not cancel your course enrolment.
