Service Description
Tension Headache & Scalp Relief Therapy A deeply relaxing treatment inspired by Indian Head Massage techniques. The session focuses on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face using soothing massage movements adapted to your individual comfort and needs. This treatment may help: • Ease everyday muscular tension • Promote relaxation and a sense of calm • Reduce feelings of stiffness around the shoulders and neck • Support rest and general wellbeing • Provide a grounding break from everyday stress What to expect Following a short consultation, the treatment is personalised according to your chosen duration and areas of tension. Pressure can be adjusted throughout the session. Scalp oil may be used with your agreement. Important information This complementary treatment does not diagnose or treat migraines or other medical conditions. New, severe, persistent or unexplained headaches should be assessed by a healthcare professional before booking. Please contact me before booking if you have: • A recent head, neck, shoulder or back injury • Recent surgery or head trauma • An active infection, fever, open wound or severe scalp condition • Unexplained dizziness or vertigo • Uncontrolled high blood pressure • Any medical condition that may affect the suitability of massage Aftercare Allow time to rest, drink water normally and stand up gradually after your treatment. If oil has been used, you may leave it on the scalp before washing, if comfortable. Individual responses vary.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations & Rescheduling A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required if you need to cancel or change your appointment. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, we will endeavour to fill your appointment slot. • If successful, your payment will be transferred to your next appointment or refunded. • If we are unable to fill the slot, a 100% late cancellation charge will apply. No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged at the full treatment value. If you choose to shorten, cancel, or change part of your booking after arrival, the full cost of the originally booked treatment(s) will remain payable upon departure. We understand that emergencies and illness can occur unexpectedly. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhoea within 24 hours prior to your appointment, please cancel your session for your own wellbeing and that of others. In the event of severe weather conditions, please use your judgment and do not risk your safety to attend. If the clinic must close or appointments are cancelled due to adverse weather, you will be notified as early as possible. Late cancellations due to a genuine emergency, illness, or severe weather will generally not incur charges, but each case will be considered individually at the therapist’s discretion.
