Clinic Terms & Conditions
1. Appointments & Bookings

All treatments are available by appointment only and must be booked online via the official website.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.

When becoming a client of Alina Holistic Health, you agree to abide by our Terms & Conditions of Business.

Prices are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice.
-
We will endeavour to respond to your email enquiries within 24 hours wherever possible.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling​​
-
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required if you need to cancel or change your appointment.
-
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, we will endeavour to fill your appointment slot.
• If successful, your payment will be transferred to your next appointment or refunded.
• If we are unable to fill the slot, a 100% late cancellation charge will apply.

No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged at the full treatment value.

If you choose to shorten, cancel, or change part of your booking after arrival, the full cost of the originally booked treatment(s) will remain payable upon departure.

We understand that emergencies and illness can occur unexpectedly. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhoea within 24 hours prior to your appointment, please cancel your session for your own wellbeing and that of others.

In the event of severe weather conditions, please use your judgment and do not risk your safety to attend. If the clinic must close or appointments are cancelled due to adverse weather, you will be notified as early as possible.

Late cancellations due to a genuine emergency, illness, or severe weather will generally not incur charges, but each case will be considered individually at the therapist’s discretion.

3. How To Change Your Appointment Or Cancel​

4. Late Arrival Policy​
-
Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment to avoid reduced treatment times.
-
If you are running late, you may have your treatment time shortened or rearranged to avoid inconvenience caused to other clients on our schedule.
-
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to carry out your service, and the full cost will be charged.

5. Gift Vouchers And Pre-Paid Vouchers Policy

Vouchers may be redeemed against any treatment of equal or higher value; any price difference must be paid when booking.
-
Lost vouchers cannot be replaced, and expired vouchers hold no monetary value.
-
Gift Vouchers and Prepaid Treatments are Non-refundable.
-
Please check the expiry date on prepaid treatments or vouchers.

You must present or provide the voucher code at the time of booking. Alina Holistic Health reserves the right to reject a booking if the code is not presented.
-
Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, resold, or transferred.
-
If you cancel or reschedule your booking within 24 hours, Alina Holistic Health has the right to forfeit the gift certificate or voucher.
-
All our vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

6. How to Book & Pay with a Gift Voucher​​
Gift vouchers can be redeemed directly through the online booking system on the Alina Holistic Health & Training website.
To use a voucher:

Visit the Booking Page and select your preferred treatment and time.
-
Proceed to checkout and enter your voucher code in the “Coupon / Gift Card” field.
-
The value of your voucher will automatically be deducted from the total cost.
-
If the treatment value is higher than the voucher amount, you may securely pay the balance online.
-
If it is lower, any remaining credit will stay on your voucher until its expiry date.
-

Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an email confirmation with all details.
-
If your booking needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, the same 24-hour notice policy applies.
Bookings made with vouchers are subject to the same terms and expiry rules as all paid treatments.

7. Package Bookings / Course of Treatment Policy​​​

Package bookings or courses of treatment are designed to help you save money where more than one or two sessions are indicated/desired.
-
Payment must be made in advance, and bookings will need to be redeemed no more than 4 weeks apart.
-
Package bookings or courses of treatment are Non-refundable and cannot be combined with any other offer. ​​

8. Inappropriate Behaviour Policy
-
Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only.
-
There is absolutely NO sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future.
-
You will be charged the full-service fee regardless of the length of your session.
-
Depending on the behaviour exhibited, we may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary.
-
Treat your therapist with respect and dignity, and you will be treated the same in return.
9. Health & Medical Conditions Policy​

Please notify us at the time of your booking if you have high blood pressure, special physical or medical conditions, diabetes, or are pregnant.
-
If you are pregnant, you must inform us and may wish to avoid booking treatments that involve the use of essential oils. Massage treatments are not recommended during the first three months of pregnancy.
-
All clients will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire upon arrival, designed with their well-being in mind.
-
Please advise of any nut or other allergies.
-
Certain conditions may require GP or specialist consent before treatment.
-
All therapies offered are complementary and not a substitute for medical care or diagnosis.

10. Treatment Access Policy​​

Please note: the treatment rooms are located upstairs and accessed via steep stairs.

11. Insurance and Professional Status Recognition​
-
Professional Indemnity, Public Liability & Medical Malpractice Insurance by Westminster Insurance.
-
Professional Membership: Full Member of the FHT- Federation of Holistic Therapists.
12. Minors Policy
-
Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the entire session. Informed written legal consent is also required

13. Data Protection & Client Records Policy
-
Alina Holistic Health Clinic & Training is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZC030889 and operates in full compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

​14. Client Record Updates
-
You agree to keep your personal record held by the clinic updated with your full contact details, which will enable us to contact you in the event of any change relating to your appointments.

Where possible, please provide both landline and mobile telephone numbers and a valid e-mail address.​​​

15. Mobile Phones
-
In the interest of your comfort, please refrain from using a mobile phone and ensure it is switched off or on silent for the full duration of your time at the clinic.

16. Liability

Every effort is made to ensure a safe and professional environment.

Alina Holistic Health & Training cannot accept liability for loss of personal items or for any reaction caused by undeclared conditions.

17. Amendments

These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. The latest version is always published on the official website.

18. Governing Law
-
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled exclusively by the English courts.

The treatments received at Alina Holistic Health are intended for general purposes only and are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical treatment for any condition, medical or otherwise, that clients may have. Clients will fully indemnify and hold harmless Alina Holistic Health, its holding company(ies), affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, agents, staff and suppliers, from and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, damages and losses, including legal fees ( on an indemnity basis) arising out of or in connection with the treatments.
