Swedish Massage – 1:1 Practical Assessment

A three-hour, one-to-one practical assessment appointment with Alina Painter for students enrolled on the Swedish Massage course at Alina Holistic Health Academy. Demonstrate your practical skills and receive individual feedback as part of the existing course assessment pathway. WHAT WE WILL ASSESS • Consultation, consent, safety and treatment planning. • Hygiene, positioning, professional draping and communication. • Core Swedish Massage techniques, pressure, posture and sequencing. • Adaptation, aftercare and treatment records. Complete the relevant theory before the appointment and have your minimum three documented case studies ready for tutor review. Use client codes or pseudonyms and obtain consent for any model or evidence used. The course's video-submission route remains available by arrangement with Alina. Booking this live appointment does not change the existing assessment requirements. CHOOSE YOUR FORMAT Attend face-to-face at Alina Holistic Health Academy in Blacknest, Alton, Hampshire, or join live via Zoom. For an online session, Alina must approve your workspace, equipment, model and camera arrangement. PREPARATION Complete the relevant theory, read your manual and arrange a suitable consenting adult model. For Zoom, use a stable connection, a proper treatment couch, suitable linens and a clear camera view of your hands, posture and draping. Joining details follow confirmation. BOOKING For students enrolled on the Academy's Swedish Massage course. Appointments require tutor approval following enrolment, payment and preparation checks. Certification follows successful completion of all existing course requirements.

• Training sessions, assessments and Reiki attunements are available only to students enrolled on the relevant course with Alina Holistic Health Academy, whose course fees have been paid in full. Students must complete the required preparatory learning for their level before receiving their attunement. Reiki courses purchased from other providers do not entitle you to book these course-related attunements. • Booking a session does not enrol you on a course or replace payment of the course fee. Enrolment, payment and any applicable prerequisites will be checked, and ineligible bookings will be cancelled. • Sessions may be booked up to 30 days in advance and no later than 24 hours before the start time. • Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. With sufficient notice, your session may be transferred to another available date without a rescheduling charge. • Late cancellations or missed sessions may incur a reasonable charge reflecting the Academy’s actual loss, taking account of costs saved and any replacement booking. Any charge for a replacement session will be explained and agreed before rebooking. • Illness, emergencies and severe weather will be considered individually. If the Academy cancels a session, an alternative date will be offered, without affecting applicable statutory rights. • Cancelling an included session does not cancel your course enrolment.
