Service Description

Prenatal Massage Therapy (Tailored Treatment) Prenatal Massage Therapy is a gentle, nurturing treatment designed to support expectant mothers through the physical, hormonal, and emotional changes of pregnancy. Using adapted Swedish massage techniques, this treatment relieves tension, improves circulation, reduces swelling, and promotes relaxation for both mother and baby. Each session is customised to your stage of pregnancy and comfort level, using safe side-lying positioning and pregnancy-approved oils to ensure complete safety and relaxation. For your safety and insurance compliance, written consent from your GP or midwife is required prior to booking. Contraindications – When to Avoid or Delay: ~ Without GP or Midwife Written Consent (required for all clients before treatment). ~ High-risk pregnancy or pre-eclampsia ~ First Trimester of Pregnancy. ~ Pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) ~ Recent bleeding, pre-term contractions, or severe swelling ~ Any complications or concerns advised by your healthcare professional Aftercare Advice – Supporting Your Wellbeing: ~ Hydrate Well – Encourages healthy circulation and reduces fluid retention. ~ Gentle Stretching or Walking – Supports mobility and prevents stiffness.



Cancellation Policy

24 hours notice is required if you need to cancel or change your appointment, otherwise the late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged. If we receive less than 24 hours notice, we will endeavour to fill your appointment with another client and if we are successful your payment will be used to secure your next appointment or refunded. If we receive less than 24 hours notice and we are not able to fill the slot, then you will incur a charge of 100% of the full treatment value. If you fail to show for the appointment, your treatment(s) will be charged at full cost. If part of a booking is cancelled or changed after arrival, the full cost of the treatment(s) as booked will remain payable upon departure. We understand that emergencies can arise and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we request that you cancel your session. Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. We will do our best to give advance notice if we are closing or need to cancel due to bad weather and we ask you to do the same. Please do not risk your own safety trying to make your appointment. Late cancellation due to emergency, illness, or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis. ​
